Turner is a founding member of the United States Green Building Council with representation on the council's board and the boards of chapters throughout the country, including the local Colorado chapter.

One of the resources Turner can provide during a project's planning phase is our LEED Credit Probability Matrix. This document summarizes the achievement of credits on all of Turner’s LEED projects around the country. The benefits of this resource are two-fold. First, the percentages achieved for each credit can help shape the LEED planning process and assist in decisions about which credits to pursue. Second, the document enables us to communicate with past LEED project teams on the strategies they used to achieve more difficult credits.

Once construction kicks off, all Turner LEED projects use the “Turner Green Operations Manual” to guide our contribution to the LEED process. This document contains valuable strategies, tips, and lessons learned for every LEED credit and is based on experience from our more than 200 LEED projects around the country.
