Traumatic Brain Injury Care for Veterans

This 25,000 sq. ft. medical office building on Fort Carson United States Army post was constructed on a prepared building pad and houses technical staff and associated equipment to provide cutting-edge evaluation, treatment planning, research, and education for service members and their families dealing with the complex interactions of mild traumatic brain injuries and psychological health conditions.

Programmatic areas include exam rooms, exercise area, classrooms, group therapy spaces, vision therapy, music and art therapy, conference space, and associated administrative and support spaces. In addition to building construction and build out, Turner completed all utility connections, FF&E procurement and installation, medical equipment procurement and installation, landscaping, and concrete flatwork. The project was privately funded by The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, but Turner coordinated closely with Fort Carson operations and the US Army Corps of Engineers to complete the project.
