The Denver International Airport (DEN) Concourse Expansion Program encompassed upgrades to Concourses A and B West and the construction of the A East Ground Load facility and Contractor's Office Complex.
Concourse A saw a 500,000 sq. ft., five-level expansion with 12 new gates, 15 hold rooms, and a full basement. It featured two subcores, three international nodes, and a sterile corridor with eight people movers. Airside improvements included 90,000 sq. yd. of apron paving and a relocated de-icing facility.
Concourse B received a 90,000 sq. ft., three-story extension with four new domestic gates, two relocated gates, and six new holdrooms. Airside enhancements involved 48,000 sq. yd. of apron paving, mail sort building demolition, and de-icing facility renovations.
The A East Ground Load facility added 14 ground-boarding gates, five new holdrooms, support for six narrow-body aircraft, concession areas, passenger walkway covers, ramps, restrooms, utilities, and concession space.
