Turner Earns Top Rankings Across 18 Market Sectors

Company ranks first in General Building, Healthcare, Education, and Sports and among the top five in 18 sectors.

Turner earned top-five rankings in 18 market sectors in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) latest rankings, demonstrating the breadth of the company’s expertise across the building industry. The results build on Turner’s earlier recognition as the top contractor in the United States for the sixth consecutive year.

Among the 21 sectors in which Turner was ranked, the company earned the number one position in General Building, Healthcare, Education, and Sports. Turner also ranked second in Commercial, Telecommunications, and Data Centers, third in Aviation, and fourth in Government and Pharmaceuticals.

Turner’s leadership position is reflected in continued growth across the business. In the first half of 2026, the company’s backlog reached $52.7 billion, an increase of 35% from the first half of 2025, while  revenue grew 23% year over year to $16.5 billion. Turner also secured $24.5 billion in new orders during the first six months of the year.

Growth was particularly strong in several key markets. Turner’s Data Centers backlog increased from $12.6 billion to $22.0 billion, while Aviation grew from $3.1 billion to $5.3 billion and Healthcare increased from $6.6 billion to $7.6 billion.

The rankings and continued growth reflect Turner’s ability to serve clients across a diverse range of markets and deliver large, complex, and technically demanding projects.
