Turner Leads Rebuilding Together Effort in Arizona

April 22, 2012

Volunteers from Turner’s Arizona office worked with teams of Phoenix residents to transform an empty lot at the Tanner Gardens complex – which serves as an assisted and affordable living center for low-income seniors – into a new community park and garden. With the help of local businesses and contractors, the groups ran an irrigation system throughout the site, planted shade and citrus trees, constructed raised planting beds for vegetables and flowers, built chicken coops and assembled a bandstand shade structure for community gatherings.
