Throughout June, employees across our Head Office, Regional Offices, and project sites came together to celebrate Environment Month, transforming awareness into action through initiatives that inspired learning, innovation, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.
From celebrating World Environment Day to empowering employees and their families to embrace sustainable living, the month showcased how collective efforts, big and small, can make a meaningful difference.
World Environment Day Celebration:
Employees across Turner India project sites marked World Environment Day through awareness activities and discussions that reinforced the importance of integrating sustainability into our daily operations and projects.
Poster Making Competition:
To encourage sustainability at home, children and young family members of employees participated in a poster-making competition. Every participant was recognized as a winner and received a plant to nurture, symbolizing their role in creating a greener future.
Sustainability Donation Drive:
Employees from the Head Office, Regional Offices, and project sites donated clothes, toys, books, stationery, and other reusable items. These donations will support underprivileged communities, while unusable materials will be recycled or upcycled into useful products, promoting the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Building Awareness Through Knowledge:
The campaign featured informative emails and online knowledge sessions conducted by the Turner India ESG Committee, educating employees on environmental challenges, sustainable development, and practical ways to make a positive impact.
Sustainability Innovation Challenge:
Employees formed teams to develop innovative ideas that could improve sustainability and reduce waste across Turner India. After a highly competitive evaluation, two ideas were selected as winners:
