The two-story Pier 15 Maritime Pavilion is a 50,000 square foot public programming facility that includes a 20,000 square foot, glass public amenities building with a green roof and open park space. The pier, which includes recreational space as well as waterfront steps and a dock for boats, is part of the East River Waterfront redevelopment project, an initiative which aims to create waterfront amenities for public use and enjoyment. The facility houses a maritime education center and a number of cafés.
In addition to Pier 15, Turner has done a number of projects with the New York City Economic Development Corporation including the Brooklyn Army Terminal and the Staten Island Homeport.
