project at a glance

The Watt Family Innovation Center at Clemson University is a four-story, 70,000 square foot facility in which students take ideas from concept to reality, focusing on real-world issues, and collaborating across university disciplines. It serves as the academic heart of the campus, with classrooms, an auditorium, and adaptable common spaces supported by a robust technology infrastructure to serve the student community.

The project included installation of the largest media mesh in North America. At 5,016 square feet and more than 3,000 pounds, the mesh stretches nearly the entire length of the four-story Innovation Center and features more than 45,000 chip-on-board, clear-bodied LED nodes.
