This Cambridge based project is a centralized, nano-research facility aimed to advance the next generation of engineering systems research, materials, and nano-technologies. The scope included the construction of material science, fabrication and imaging facilities along with two levels of particle free cleanroom space. This 215,000 square foot building achieved LEED Platinum.
The facility is shared by more than 2,000 researchers across multiple departments and disciplines, who through their interaction and support by state of the art technology, will develop new programming impacting areas such as energy, water, healthcare, transportation, and the environment. Construction efforts included extensive enabling and coordination of intricate MEP systems within a tight campus site.
