Turner was tasked with constructing the interior fitout of the 185,000 sq. ft. Bluestone Data Center - a fully redundant Tier 3+ data center with two separate data halls. The project was built with a fast-track schedule and extremely challenging site logistics.
The two Bluestone data wings are supported by a center housing switchgear and mechanical support spaces. Bluestone is fed with two dedicated 13.8KV utility feeders, and five 13.8KV generators with plenty of room for expansion. Each generator can be selected by one of the two parallel switchgear lineups. Additionally, two (2) main 13.8KV distribution switchgear lineups distribute utility and generator power to UPS and mechanical 13.8KV to 480V substations arranged in a M-T-T-M configuration. Four parallel redundant UPS feed PDUs and RPPs in each data hall.
