The Dubai Mall is the largest shopping space in the world, with a total internal floor area of 1,800,000 sq. m. The four-storey mall, built on the shore of a 30-acre, and 0.5 billion-gallon, man-made lake, has a unique blend of sophisticated retail and luxury leisure facilities, including over 1,200 individual shops and more than 100 restaurants. Scope of work includes a 10-storey parking garage with 14,000 parking spaces, the world’s largest indoor aquarium (10-million litres), a 22-screen mega cineplex, an NHL/IHL ice rink, two concert music stages, a fashion runway, and 23 water fountains. Leading global and regional retailers have brought their market brands to this palatial glass, steel, and precast concrete mall. This project has completely transformed shopping and leisure in Dubai and has firmly placed this Emirati State as one of the retail capitals of the world.
