Industry-wide collaboration celebrates diversity and inclusion
Turner is proud to join industry participants to celebrate the second annual Construction Inclusion Week. Construction Inclusion Week seeks to effect positive change in the industry for generations of workers to come.
We are happy to
share this video featuring the people of Turner speaking to the importance of topics discussed during Construction Inclusion Week, what we are trying to accomplish, and how they actively care for others, are engaged in our communities, and are making Turner a welcoming place for all.
In a tremendous sign of progress, participation in Construction Inclusion Week has doubled since its inaugural year. More than 2,500 organizations have registered including contractors, suppliers, educational institutions, industry associations, government agencies, and clients. This diverse group of industry participants is sending a strong message that they support diversity, equity, and inclusion on job sites, within project teams, and the industry.
Turner is organizing events during the week to cultivate a culture of inclusion and belonging, support supplier and workforce diversity, and continue efforts to support an environment in which everyone looks out for each other, and that all people are treated with respect and dignity.
