Our history in Maryland dates to 1927, when we completed our inaugural project - a warehouse for the American Stores Company located at Lafayette Avenue & Smallwood Street in Baltimore. In 2002, we cemented our presence and have become one of the largest construction management firms in the state.
Leveraging our local intelligence with Turner’s global resources has enabled us to foster lasting relationships with our trusted clients and has earned us the reputation as the market leader in preconstruction and construction services.
From interior renovations to large scale new construction projects, our local team builds for the area’s largest institutions, public organizations, and private companies.
Beyond the concrete and rebar, we are committed to giving back to our communities through partnerships and outreach events that have a positive impact. Whether it’s supporting UBEs through the Turner School for Construction Management, or fundraising for local charitable organizations, our team is committed to strengthening the communities within which we build.
The success of our organization is propelled by the leadership of our executives. Their capacity to adjust to new circumstances, motivate their teams, and make sound strategic choices serve as a innovative force that drives our present and future accomplishments.
The Turner School of Construction Management (TSCM) is a hallmark program within the Community and Citizenship Department. Since 1969, it has served as one of the primary catalysts in creating direct connections to Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) networks and offering intentional engagement with firms, to help them become profitable, sustainable, and successful companies.
