Turner’s 2024 ESG Report Showcases Bold Action and Lasting Impact

With advances in sustainable materials, renewable energy, and inclusive practices, Turner highlights its commitment to caring for people, strengthening communities, and shaping a more resilient future.

Turner Construction Company is proud to announce the release of its second annual Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. The report highlights Turner’s continued progress in embedding environmental responsibility, social inclusion, and strong governance throughout its operations and project delivery.

Guided by its ESG strategy, Building Today to Transform Tomorrow™, Turner has advanced implementation in its operations and projects.

Advancing Decarbonization: Across the business, teams scaled the use of renewable diesel—more than 60,000 gallons companywide—and piloted all-electric equipment. Turner also placed the first-ever field pour of Sublime Cement and tested C-Crete, reducing emissions on those pilots by up to 95 percent compared to traditional concrete.

Strengthening the Supply Chain: Turner has increased opportunities for business participation, reinforcing an ethical and resilient supply chain. SourceBlue, Turner’s procurement subsidiary, expanded globally in 2024 and is integrating ESG goals to support more sustainable client purchasing decisions. 

Building on Inclusion: The Inclusive Leadership Academy graduated its first class, and Turner expanded its employee resource groups and workforce development programs in support of our 2030 Vision for inclusion and representation at every level of the company.

Accountability in Action: Turner achieved four ISO certifications in 2024, reinforcing commitments to environmental management, safety, anti-bribery, and compliance systems. The company also recognized with the 2024 U.S. Green Building Council Leadership Award for Organizational Excellence.

Innovation in Action: Turner Ventures, launched in 2024, invests in startups advancing AI, clean energy, and decarbonization. Through our three-tiered approach—Incubate, Ignite, and Invest—we’re piloting new technologies on jobsites and scaling them for industry-wide impact. Our 9th Innovation Summit convened global partners to explore breakthroughs in digital tools and sustainable infrastructure.
