project at a glance

Turner provided general contracting services for this multi-phased project at Lam Research's Livermore campus. It consisted of four separate packages:

1. Chemical Facility Demolition: Decommissioning and demolition of an existing chemical storage bunker and reconstruction of their shipping and receiving dock. Dock and truck levelers, underground utilities, and concrete/asphalt paving were also included in his package.

2. QA/QC Cleanroom: Demolition and reconstruction of the existing cleanroom space to a Class 10 QA/QC cleanroom facility. Scope included HVAC system distribution and controls, power/lighting systems, rapid overhead doors, change room and pump alleys and a HAZMAT storage facility.

3. Clean Corridor: Construction of a corridor structure, providing a clean "link" between two separate MFG buildings.

4. Office T.I.: Demolition and reconstruction of existing office space (approximately 45,000 square feet). This included an MEP system, restroom upgrades and an employee lounge/café.
