Turner’s Commitment to Women in the Workplace Recognized by Forbes for the Third Consecutive Year

The recognition reflects Turner’s commitment to creating a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

Turner has once again been named one of America’s Best Employers for Women by Forbes. This marks the third consecutive year Turner has received the recognition, highlighting the company’s continued commitment to empowering women and creating a workplace where all employees can thrive.

Creating opportunities for women to grow, lead, and thrive is an important part of Turner's people strategy. Through leadership development, employee networks, and benefits that support employees throughout their careers and lives, Turner continues to expand the resources available to women across the company. Turner’s Women’s Network Employee Resource Group is global and includes 41 local chapters that create opportunities for connection, mentorship, professional development, and community. The Women’s Superintendent Network is strengthening pathways for women to advance into field leadership roles. Turner also supports women’s health and maternity needs through preventive care and cancer screenings, enhanced fertility coverage, adoption and surrogacy assistance, paid maternity and family leave, and the Maven Maternity Program, which provides support from pregnancy through postpartum.

The Forbes ranking was developed through an independent survey conducted among employees working for companies with at least 1,000 people in the United States. Only responses from women were considered, with evaluations from employees carrying substantially greater weight than assessments from the public.

Companies were evaluated on general workplace factors as well as topics that specifically affect women, including flexibility, pay equity, parental leave, representation and career development, family support, and discrimination. The representation of women among top executives and board directors also factored into the scoring.
