The latest addition to UConn Health's campus is a 169-bed hospital tower with two parking garages, one public and one for staff. The project also includes substantial renovations to the hospital's original tower, including upgrades to clinical trial areas.
In addition to typical site preparations, work included relocation of site utilities including sanitary, storm, water, and electrical sysems, to accomodate excavation for the added tower and parking facilities.
