The South Intermodal Terminal Facility at Orlando International Airport serves various modes of rail and vehicle transport, including inter-city rail, commuter rail and light rail. The project consists of multimodal stations, rail platforms, bus terminals and surface parking. It also features an elevated passenger transfer system that ties in to the Automated People Mover (APM) station and parking garage, under construction at the same time.
The scope of work is part of the airport’s larger South Airport Terminal Development Program, which includes plans to build a 16-gate concourse and terminal.
