Steven Harpster is a Self-Perform Operations Manager at Turner Construction Company with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial construction. A military veteran and former union carpenter, he built his career in the field and brings a practical, people-focused approach to leadership.
He is passionate about delivering high-quality projects that serve communities and create lasting impact. Having worked his way up through the trades, Steven understands the realities of the jobsite and the importance of supporting the people who make complex projects possible.
In his role, he partners closely with craft professionals and field leaders to drive project execution, strengthen teams, and manage the day-to-day demands of complex construction work. He is known for his direct communication style, steady leadership, and ability to keep both people and performance at the forefront.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time outdoors and with his wife, daughter, and extended family and friends.
