The Sumner County Courthouse is a five-story, 230,590-sq.-ft. judicial facility located in the heart of Gallatin’s historic downtown. The courthouse consolidates circuit, chancery, criminal, and general sessions courts into a single modern complex, improving efficiency, accessibility, and safety for the growing region. Designed to serve the community for generations, the building balances long-term functionality with a civic presence that respects its historic surroundings.
The courthouse features 10 courtrooms, a large jury assembly room, administrative offices, detainee holding areas, and a shelled floor reserved for future expansion. Clearly defined public, restricted, and secure zones enhance safety everyone while streamlining daily operations. Supporting the building’s functionality, the project also includes 12,000 square feet of secure judicial parking located beneath the facility, reinforcing both operational efficiency and site security.
