Driven by the success of Triton Athletics and the need to upgrade the baseball facilities, UC San Diego initiated a design process that would replace the existing Triton ball field with facilities that would serve as a branding element and represent the aspirations of Triton Baseball. Triton Ballpark provided a new 4,250 sq. ft. clubhouse, new stadium seating with restrooms, press box, dugouts, and various other site amenities and facility enhancements. Tilt-up construction was used for the grandstands surround and one wall for the clubhouse (11 panels total).
