Turner provided Project Management on Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. This complex situated on the beach of the Arabian Gulf highlights the beauty of Arab culture and is an iconic landmark hotel. The palace is an architectural marvel and internationally recognised, with 114 domes covered in glass mosaic tiles. Offering 7* service, the hotel contains nearly 400 guest rooms with approximately 120 suites, as well as restaurants, bars, luxurious halls, meeting rooms, and open-air vistas for gala events. The major components of the complex are the conference centre, the royal suites, the adjacent marina, underground parking for 2,500 vehicles, and ancillary support buildings. The overall site area covers over 70 hectares. One of the primary functions of the Emirates Palace Hotel was to serve as the host venue for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summits as they rotate to the United Arab Emirates every six years.
