Turner is committed to creating the right environment, where people feel safe, respected, authentic, and can be their best. Building a culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as active caring, ensures that people feel welcomed as their true, authentic selves.

We stand with our LGBTQIA2+ colleagues, families, friends, and allies and will continue to take action to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within our company. “The work we do and the progress we make in building a more just society will be the most important, lasting, rewarding, and life-changing work we will do in our careers,” said Peter Davoren, president and chief executive officer.

Turner’s 122 Employee Resource Groups serve to foster an environment for all people to experience inclusiveness and empowerment. Through genuine conversations and intentional actions, we address the needs of a multicultural workplace. Turner’s Pride Network increases LGBTQIA2+visibility and inclusion within our company and in the industry. It also serves to educate, advocate, and empower people to maximize success. We are dedicated to eliminating hate and bias in the workplace and will continue to create an inclusive workplace environment where everyone can feel supported and connected.

“At Turner we want everyone to be their authentic self so they can be their very best, said Pat Di Filippo, executive vice president. Pat continued, “We are unified and steadfast in our commitment to foster respect within our workplace. We actively care for others and are committed to investing in the hard work necessary to achieve our vision of what we want to be.” By working together, learning from one another, and being consistent in our actions towards maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment, we will see positive change in the industry for generations of workers to come.

“Our colleagues are our family, our friends, and the most important asset of our company. We are working together to build a culture where our differences are recognized, valued, and celebrated,” said Lisa Moving, vice president. Lisa continued, “We look forward to participating in the second annual Construction Inclusion Week in October to advance a collective vision for our industry that is ever-more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.”

We have earned a 100/100 in Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index annual scorecard for LGBTQIA2+ workplace equality for the past seven years. This index is a driving force for LGBTQIA2+ workplace inclusion. We have earned recognition for our support of employees with LGBTQIA2+ specific health benefits and policies and we will continue to protect the rights of LGBTQIA2+ employees and offer support and visibility in our workplace.
