Turner Construction Company Receives Industry Recognition for Project Excellence, Safety, and Divers

Engineering News-Record recently announced 2022 Regional Best Project Winners. Turner projects receiving recognition were the Shelby County Health Department in Tennessee, the New Natural Resources Headquarters and the BART Headquarters in California, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Expansion and the White Plains Hospital Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery in New York, and the immersive art experience Meow Wolf in Colorado. These projects were selected based on the project team’s ability to overcome challenges, contribute to the industry and community, safety performance, and construction and design quality.

Our people actively care for their own and their team members’ health and wellbeing. Their effort in creating safe, caring environments is being recognized. The Skybox Chicago data center project and the Meow Wolf project in Denver won awards for regional “Best Project, Excellence in Safety” from Engineering News-Record and, in the Carolinas, the Associated Builders and Contractors recognized Turner for a world-class safety management program.

Our people are cultivating the right environment on projects and advancing our vision for an industry that is ever-more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The New Jersey Institute of Technology has selected Turner for recognition as a supporter of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council recognized Turner for our contribution to supplier diversity and minority business development.

In Cleveland, the Construction Employers Association honored our team for our work on the Shaker Heights Public Library’s renovation project. The award recognizes excellent work performed by the construction trade workers on the project as well as the contractors who employ them.

The Design Build Institute of America recognized two of our projects in California: the MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital and the New Natural Resources Headquarters with awards for excellence.
