Prince George's Community College Center for Performing Arts

An Ultra-Modern Educational Facility

The Prince George’s County Community College Center for Performing Arts expands and transforms the existing 1960’s-era Queen Anne Fine Arts Building into a ultramodern educational facility serving both the College and the greater community of Prince George’s County. The project supports the enhancement of vital Liberal Arts departments and programs dedicated to performing and communication arts as well as various workforce development, student services, and community outreach programs previously lacking on campus.

Empowering art and education

The project provides the campus not only with the renovated Hallam Theatre, but also with space to improve and transform the curriculums of music, theater, speech, and mass communications at the College. Included in the facility are a proscenium theater, a black box theater, instructional theater labs, radio and TV broadcast centers, a dance studio, and expanded educational and classroom space.
