Kent Kunkel

Kent serves as Vice President and General Manager of Turner Boston, where he takes great pride in developing teams and people, exceeding the expectations of his clients, and develops strategic planning to ensure the long-term success of the business unit.

Kent worked through the roles of chief of party, assistant superintendent, cost engineer, superintendent, procurement agent, project manager, and Operations Manager of Turner’s Special Projects Division. In 2005, he was challenged by Boston leadership to organize and expand the SourceBlue program for the business unit, which is now a major enterprise generating more than 400M in revenue each year. In 2008, Kent was promoted to Business Development Manager, and then in 2014 to vice president. In 2017, Kent was promoted to his current role as Vice President and General Manager of Turner Boston.

In addition to his work with Turner, Kent is on the Advisory Committee for the Aspire Works organization, which focuses on providing work experiences for individuals on the autism spectrum.  He is also on the board of the Kendall Square Association.
