Where Bioscience Innovation Meets Learning Excellence

The Medical Labs project at 777 Bay Street transformed two floors of commercial office space into advanced research laboratories and collaborative work environments for a confidential post-secondary institution. The project included extensive base building upgrades to meet the complex technical requirements of laboratory operations, including specialized systems for air handling, mechanical exhaust, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.

Level 10 features approximately 21,000 sq.ft. of CL2 laboratory space, combining both wet and dry lab environments to support a range of research activities. The labs include microscopy rooms, cold rooms, biowaste facilities, research benching, fume hoods, workstations, and support spaces designed for flexibility and performance.

Level 9 was developed to promote collaboration and academic engagement, with conference and classroom facilities, offices, and open work areas that accommodate approximately 96 workstations and shared amenities.
