Block 16 is an 11-story shell and core office build-out for Wright Runstad in the Spring District in Bellevue. Construction consists of a new office building with a street retail level for the Spring District, a new neighborhood in the heart of Bellevue. The existing site was a light industrial/commercial site located at the old Safeway Distribution Center in the Bel-Red corridor of Bellevue, WA. The shell and core office building is structural steel with concrete on a metal deck. It has 12 levels above grade and 5 levels of subgrade parking. Once complete, Block 16 will include approximately 300,000 sq. ft. of commercial office space on 11 floors, 16,000 sq. ft. of retail space, and more than 900 parking spaces.
