Turner provided comprehensive project management services, including design coordination and construction management, for the Şişecam TR9 Investment Tarsus Flat Glass and Frosted Glass Facility, a landmark industrial development that strengthens Şişecam’s global manufacturing network and production capabilities.

As one of Europe’s leading glass manufacturers, Şişecam operates across the flat glass, glassware, glass packaging, and chemicals sectors, with an extensive international footprint spanning Europe, Africa, and India. The approximately USD 358 million greenfield investment represents a significant milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy, expanding its flat glass production capacity while reinforcing its position as a global industry leader.

The project encompasses approximately 2,900,000 square feet of construction across nearly 90 specialized industrial structures, including production facilities, warehouses, utility buildings, chimneys, and conveyor systems. The development also consolidates several Şişecam business units—including Flat Glass, Frosted Glass, Chemicals, and Camiş Mining—within a single integrated manufacturing campus, creating operational efficiencies and supporting the company’s future growth objectives.

Designed as one of the world's highest-capacity flat glass production facilities, the plant delivers an annual gross production capacity of 432,000 tons and features Europe's longest frosted glass production line. The campus has also been planned with future expansion in mind, providing the flexibility to accommodate additional production capacity and evolving operational requirements over the long term.
