The new, 58,000 sq. ft. Outpatient Health Center, for AdventHealth at the corner of College Blvd. and Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park, Kansas includes a 24/7, stand-alone emergency department, eight exam rooms, imaging center, X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT scan, laboratory services and future physician offices. The seven-acre site includes a two-story precast concrete parking garage and a series of almost 3/4 mile-long retaining walls to allow for maximized surface parking area adjacent to the new building. The space includes a primary care practice on the second floor and an outpatient health and wellness center on the third floor that features integrative medicine, nutritional medicine and functional medicine to complement traditional medical care.
