Türkiye's Global Financial Hub

Turner provided project management services for the Istanbul Financial Center (IFC), a comprehensive financial ecosystem established with the aim of positioning Türkiye as a regional and global financial hub. IFC is a large-scale mixed-use development on a 65.7 hectares area, spanning 1.3 million sq. m. of office space, the complex also features a 100,000 sq. m. shopping mall, a five-star hotel covering 30,000 sq. m., and parking capacity for 26,000 vehicles. 

IFC is home to Türkiye’s leading financial institutions, including the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye and major public banks as well as well as international companies. Developed within a smart city model, IFC integrates a wide range of social amenities: a Congress and Performance Center with a capacity of up to 2,000 guests, a 1,500 sq. m. IFC Academy and Research Center, a kindergarten, a primary school, a police station, a fire department, and religious spaces. 

At full capacity, the IFC project is expected to support a circulation of 50,000 employees and 25,000 daily visitors, integrating work, living, and shopping activities. All buildings within IFC have been meticulously designed to comply with LEED certification standards. To date, the Ziraat Bank and HalkBank Towers have been awarded LEED Platinum certification, while the VakıfBank Towers have successfully obtained LEED Gold certification.
