Located in Uptown Charlotte, this eight-floor, 214,000 square foot space upfit is a cutting-edge, collaborative environment for Honeywell employees and customers to work and connect. This LEED Gold Certified space features an open office concept with a mixture of communal seating and private offices, as well as conference and board meeting areas.
One floor of this upfit is solely dedicated to amenities in an effort to meet the varying professional and lifestyle needs of its employees. This high-end space features training rooms, a café and in-house kitchen, state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, and mail center with smart lockers. The Wellness Center is equipped with in-house healthcare technicians to provide basic medical services on-site. The Information Technology Support team is also housed on this floor for in-house trouble-shooting and equipment replacements or upgrades. Honeywell has also provided a town hall space with a capacity of 220 people and capability of virtual broadcasting, creating a welcoming and conducive space to host both internal and external events and enhance connectivity. The Customer Experience Center on the 23rd floor in particular is exclusive to product showcasing which includes 3D modeling systems, immersion room, broadcast (green screen) room, and sound towers.
The use of Honeywell’s Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) sensors also support tenant wellness as contaminated outdoor air can potentially be introduced into the building via ventilation. The utilization of IAQs gives evidentiary support for superior ventilation systems; The project utilizes UV filtration systems for the highest quality air, creating a healthier environment for its tenants and guests. Power Over Ethernet (POE) system is energy-saving and provides a more security regarding power constancy.
