The renovation at LBJ Hospital included the demolition of the existing rehabilitation suite and the build-back of a new 4,100 sq. ft. emergency observation unit. Our team performed the build-out of 12 observation beds, primary and secondary nurse stations, a patient bathing area, medication room, and ancillary storage spaces. The work also included the installation of hand sinks, med gas distribution, ceilings, and lighting and air devices, and distribution.
Our team proudly achieved 45% HUB/MWBE/UBE participation on this project, surpassing Harris Health’s goal by an impressive 13% and strengthening opportunities for diverse business partners.
