Become a Subcontractor
The FAU Culture and Society Building consists of a new 3-story, 79,000 SF building for the College of Arts and Letters on the Florida Atlantic University main campus. This new building includes classrooms for School of Communication and Multi-Media Studies, Language, Linguistics and Comparative Literature, Sociology and English. The building is LEED Gold Certified.
A separate wing for the Living Room Theatre (LRT) program consisting of four 50-seat theaters, a cafe, kitchen, and other support spaces. Used during the day by FAU’s film study program, and on nights and weekends, the theaters are open to the public showing foreign, classic, and independent films.
Turner has been providing construction management services to FAU under a continuing services agreement since 2008 for multiple work-order based contracts. Other completed projects are the Breezeway renovations that included major infrastructure repairs to the main pedestrian corridor of the campus; and Building 36 renovations that included 93,250 SF of interior renovations.
