The Architects Partnership
This project was an interior build-out and exterior re-skin of 3,200 sq. ft. of retail banking space. The Turner team completed the 190-day schedule on time and under budget. Turner achieved the milestone of turning over a functional data room 45 days prior to the deadline. The project scope also included demolition of the existing interior space and build-out of the branch. Also included was the structural demolition of the existing exterior CMU block wall to install new storefront openings. The project was located along a busy intersection, which allowed for very little laydown space.
This project was completed in an existing space which included demolition of existing CMU walls, floors, and drywall partitions. The state of the exterior CMU wall was found to be in need for structural repair, which the team came up with a solution to utilize a FRP reinforced system to save schedule and cost to ensure the wall was in a structural sound condition. This allowed Turner to complete the project within the time frame required.
