Turner International provided Project Management on the Burj Khalifa Tower, the centerpiece of the 500-acre Burj Khalifa development in Downtown Dubai. At 828 meters, it is still the tallest building in the world. The 162-story tower encompasses an area of 185,000 sq. m. and holds 1,000+ apartments. Residential space makes up more than 28,000 sq. m. There are 49 storeys of office space and a 160-room Armani Hotel. At the peak of construction, more than 12,000 people from over 100 countries were working on site. In total, the Burj Khalifa required 22 million-man hours to complete.
