Turner provided preconstruction and construction management services for American Express’ new headquarters. The scope of work included the fit-out of 10 floors, totalling approximately 225,000 sq. ft.. Space programming focused on open-concept work areas enhancing collaboration amongst co-workers with “touch-down” hoteling stations, numerous meeting rooms, high-tech conferencing rooms (with integrated automation systems for state-of-the-art A/V components) and only a few private offices (70% open concept work stations, 30% private offices) and an executive conference facility . The new space additionally includes a new call centre, cafeteria, gourmet kitchen, a 5,000 sq. ft. data centre and fully equipped high-level security systems upgrades throughout.
