Turner Celebrates Beam Signing for New Northern Chautauqua Hospital

New hospital will expand access to healthcare for communities across Western New York. 

Turner joined hospital leadership, community stakeholders, and local officials for a beam signing ceremony at the site of the new Northern Chautauqua Hospital in Fredonia, New York. 

The milestone marks progress on the $224 million project, a partnership between Kaleida Health and Brooks-TLC Hospital System. The more than 132,000-square-foot, 15-bed hospital will expand access to emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialty care for residents of Northern Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and southern Erie counties. 

Turner is leading construction of the facility, which will feature a modern, efficient, and sustainable environment. New York State has committed $124 million toward construction, representing more than half of the project’s total cost.

The new Northern Chautauqua Hospital is scheduled to open in 2029.
