The terminal expansion will be approximately 193,000 square meters with runway, cross taxiway, apron and AGL works, and significant site works.
The capacity of the airport is envisaged to increase from 60 million to 140 million passengers per annum.
Terminal works will consist of extension of T1 D - Departure and T1 C - Arrival, construction of Pier building with ten PBB and interconnect to departure and arrival terminals, construction of additional transfer area for I-I and D-I. The terminal buildings are proposed to have a new façade, construction of a pier building with additional contact stands.
