Turner provided construction management services for a 10,000 square foot 7th floor laboratory space at the Silver Building Complex. This lab now houses the research functions for the Molecular Nanoscience Laboratory and is shared with New York University’s (NYU) Biomedical Chemistry Institute on the 8th floor.
The project scope included all new interior architectural construction, laboratory furnishings, fixed laboratory equipment, and the associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure for the research floor. The superstructure and MEP infrastructure were designed to accommodate all environmental criteria required to conduct research and support equipment, as mandated by code.
