The Nolte Road Extension for the City of St. Cloud is a four-lane, divided arterial roadway which includes nine storm water management ponds and related storm water conveyance pipes, potable water and reuse mains, curbing, sidewalks, and three signalized intersections. The project was divided into four segments to allow small local subcontractors the chance to work on a project that they typically would not have the opportunity to be a part of. The project is more than three miles long and spans 86 acres. The project is a 2012 Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction Eagle Award winner.
