Targeting young, urban professionals looking for a downtown living experience, the Post Apartments fill the increasing need for high-end residences. In June 2011, after 6 months of preconstruction, Turner Construction broke ground on this 16-story mixed use building with one level of retail & lobby entrances, four levels of above-grade parking, eight work/live studios, ten levels of residential apartments, and one level of residential amenities.

This project is a concrete structure on drilled shafts with the exterior wall a mixture of curtain wall combined with terracotta and metal panel. The proposed building area is approximately 290,000 square feet, and has a total of 126 parking stalls and 78 bicycle stalls. Preconstruction began in May 2010, and was substantially completed in December 2012. Turner provided constructability reviews and collaborated closely with the design team on a weekly basis, utilizing BIM to meet fast-track schedule milestones.

The building's foundation is made up of large four-to-five foot diameter drilled caissons, averaging 80 feet deep. The project is comprised of 100% curtainwall, with terra cotta panels at the lower levels, which will be unitized and glazed into the system. The mechanical system is a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) packaged unit, and has micro-units located in the four levels of the above-grade garage parking. The amenity level has a fitness center, yoga area, kitchen, bar and entertainment area. The deck includes a reflecting pool and grilling area. 12,000 square feet of retail is located on the first level, as well as the second level of the featured "cube" on the North end of the building.
