The complete remodel of approximately 41,000 square feet at the Fulton Elementary School included approximately 15,000 square feet of additions, including a library and cafeteria with commercial kitchen. Related site work included minor grading and landscaping with the addition of a new parking area and a drop-off lane.
The project included complete HVAC replacement throughout, some plumbing replacement, electrical upgrades, fire sprinklers, and window replacement. While the original building contained wood roof and floor structure, the new construction is steel frame with masonry veneer. The work was conducted in three phases to provide the least possible interference to school activities.
