Debra Martin

​Debi's career began in the printing industry, in Visalia, California where she took on various roles including customer service, marketing, operations leadership and general management of a sister company in Southern California. She relocated to the Bay Area in 2007 and joined Turner as the HR Director for the Northern California region. In 2017 she was promoted to Senior HR Director, and in 2020 her role expanded to serving the Northwest Regions. Today, she is the Vice President and Senior HR Director. The foundation of a varied career path rooted her in every segment of the business and broadened her leadership skills. She leads with the philosophy that people are truly the greatest asset a company has. She is married and has four daughters and twelve grandchildren. Her family spends their time riding razors, hiking trails, boating on various lakes and watching sunsets. In 2021, her and her husband decided to get two puppies, Maverick and Remington, that have filled their empty nest with the joys of noise again. When asked what excites me or what I enjoy most about my role or working at Turner Construction, I always say the people. While that sounds like the answer anyone might give, cliché or not, it is a deeply held truth. Every day is full of opportunities to serve others to be the best version of themselves and forge relationships that bond us. "I do what I do with joy because of the people I get to do it with. I am humbled to be part of these teams and this company."
