Intuit Dome

Designed for the Clippers, Built for the Fans

Intuit Dome is the cutting-edge home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. Covering 28 acres in Inglewood, this 18,000-seat arena was designed to be one of the league’s most immersive and high-energy fan experiences. The venue includes five full-size basketball courts: the main game court, two player practice courts, an auxiliary court for community and team events, and a regulation-size outdoor court in the plaza. An 85,000 sq. ft. training facility houses player performance zones, a hydrotherapy pool, and dedicated medical spaces. The facility also includes 25,000 sq. ft. for a sports medicine clinic and 55,000 sq. ft. of team office space to support daily operations.

In addition to the outdoor court, the 80,000 sq. ft. plaza includes bars, a restaurant, and a 5,000 sq. ft. team store. The concourse honors California’s rich basketball legacy with jerseys displayed from high school teams across the state.

The Home Court Advantage

Designed to be fully cashless and ticketless, the venue integrates biometric entry and smart building systems that enhance both fan experience and operational efficiency. The arena’s compact bowl design brings fans up to 45 feet closer to the court than at the team’s former venue. A standout feature is The Wall, a 51-row section behind one basket that seats 4,500 fans, engineered to amplify crowd noise and energy.

Suspended above the court is the Halo Board, the largest double-sided LED video display in arena history at 38,375 sq. ft. and more than 233 million LEDs. Central to the building’s structural design, the board provides dynamic views from every seat, especially from the upper floor.

A Sustainable, All-Electric Venue

A Sustainable, All-Electric Venue

Intuit Dome is an all-electric, LEED Platinum-certified facility. A 2-megawatt rooftop solar array and an 11-megawatt on-site battery storage system allow the arena to operate carbon-free during events. Reclaimed water systems, low-carbon concrete, and modular plant systems were used to reduce environmental impact and improve delivery efficiency.

Community Impact

The project was delivered by the AECOM Hunt–Turner Joint Venture. Over 7,000 construction jobs were generated during the build, and the venue is expected to support up to 1,500 permanent positions. Intuit Dome is projected to drive approximately $260 million in annual economic activity, solidifying its role as a transformative anchor in the Inglewood sports and entertainment district.
