Enhancing Facilities and Programs: A Comprehensive Capital Improvement Project

The capital improvement project modernized existing facilities, improved educational and athletic programs, and addressed health, safety and infrastructure concerns. Turner was responsible for providing preconstruction and construction management services for a capital improvement project that aimed to modernize existing facilities, enhance educational and athletic programs, and address health, safety, and infrastructure concerns.

As part of this project, the existing high school underwent a reconfiguration to support the district's STEAM program, which included a new technology and engineering addition. The addition featured a transportation and materials shop, wood shop, two innovation labs, and a CNC fabrication classroom. Additionally, the middle school classroom wings underwent renovations, and the gymnasium was expanded and renovated.

The science wing was also renovated to support hands-on learning in biology, physics, chemistry, and earth science classrooms. Flexible furniture and new lab stations were added to allow teachers to organize their classrooms to support a variety of lessons.
