Audi Field

Audi Field, home to Major League Soccer team DC United, is a soccer-specific stadium with a capacity of 20,000 seats, 24 suites, 1,500 club seats, and two clubs and lounge areas. It is also a host for other events such as football, lacrosse, concerts, and other entertainment and community events. Audi Field is located on a 13-acre parcel on Buzzard Point in southwest DC. The stadium is a key element in the transformation of the surrounding industrial area, which is quickly becoming a commercial and residential neighborhood that people will enjoy for years to come. DC United was established in 1996 as one of the ten charter clubs of the league and began playing in nearby Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, owned by the District of Columbia, and designed as a multi-purpose stadium to include both football and baseball capacities. The team played their first game at Audi Field on July 14, 2018 hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
