Nik Gervais

​Nik was predestined to be in the construction industry. His grandfather was a carpenter, and three of his five uncles and dad are all currently carpenters. He has tagged along with his dad on different projects since high school. Nik credits his father with instilling his love for the craft, building, and creating a physical product that people in our communities can enjoy. Nik currently oversees Turner Portland’s Special Projects Division and brings significant experience working with clients in occupied buildings with multiple tenants. Overseeing an average volume of $75 million of renovation and TI work annually, he understands the complexities of performing renovations and tenant improvements in high density buildings. Prior to becoming SPD Manager, Nik held key roles on projects such as the WorldMark by Wyndham in downtown Portland, the Hassalo on Eighth Mixed-Use Development and a Manufacturing Support Building for a confidential high-tech client. Prior to moving to Turner Portland in 2013, Nik worked in our San Diego office on key projects in the downtown core including the Hard Rock Hotel, 1 Mission Mixed-Use Building and Aperture Condominiums. Nik met his wife while in San Diego and they have a young daughter and son. They love spending time as a family and with their friends. In his spare time, you may also find Nik playing hockey, snowboarding, surfing or hiking.
