Turner completed its first project in Houston for the Humble Oil Company (now ExxonMobil) in 1919. Since then, Turner has worked on some of our city's most prominent landmarks including Houston's three tallest, downtown buildings - Chase Tower, Wells Fargo Plaza and the Bank of America Building. More recently, Turner completed the award-winning Hilton Americas Houston Hotel & Convention Center and  the 717 Texas building (Calpine Center). 

Turner's Houston office continues to work with a diverse mix of public and private sector clients across the region including Texas A&M University, Lone Star College System, British Petroleum, Fort Bend County, the City of Sugar Land, Houston Independent School District and the Archdiocese of Galveston.

Turner Interiors
Our Interiors group specializes in corporate renovations/relocations, commercial and retail fit-outs, financial and investment facilities, educational facilities, data centers and call centers. The group performs 95% of the interior construction for Turner’s ground-up and build-to-suit projects.

    This position reports to the Technology Services Manager of the Texas Business Unit and provides primary support of Information System users in the areas of voice, data, applications, commercial software, workstation configuration and problem resolution; participates in the planning, management, coordination, and deployment of information system technology at the business unit and job sites and serves as the main coordination point between Technology Services and the business for technology implementation.

  • Houston, Senior Project Manager - Interiors

    Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors engaged on projects ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Handle mid-scale, multi-projects while serving as the Turner Construction representative on the Owner-Architect-Turner team. Is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Turner in all matters.

  • Texas, Fall Intern

    Reports to Project Engineer or Project Superintendent. Engineering role will involve assisting in   obtaining, coordinating and distributing the information and authorizations required to construct the project on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Superintendent role requires maintaining daily contact with subcontractor’s representatives, forepersons and other Turner Staff responsible for the protection and promotion of Turner Construction Company interests.

  • MEP Estimating and Preconstruction

    Reports to the Estimating Manager and/or Senior Estimator, prepares estimates based on an Owner’s/Architect’s design intent through construction documents. In the performance of this function, is responsible for the protection and promotion of the interest of Turner Construction Company in all matters.
