Chris Compton

Procurement Manager

Houston

A Houston native, Chris Compton, Jr. serves Manager of Turner's procurement department in the Houston office.

Chris is responsible for leading the efforts of our in-house procurement team, managing key trade partner relationships, bid package coordination, pre-bid conferences, outreach programs, and bid evaluations to ensure maximize competition of our trade partners in the bidding process and provide greater opportunities for our HUB/SMWBE partners. Chris joined Turner in 2013 and has 17 years of combined industry experience. He became Procurement Manager of the Houston office in 2021 after serving in the estimating department and as a Project Engineer on various assignments.
